Nissan has introduced the BladeGlider Concept to the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in an European premiere, after the model has been first seen in Tokyo, back in late 2013.
The new Nissan BladeGlider Concept is coming with a 1+2 seating layout and it also has a 30:70 weight distribution, following the footsteps of the ZEOD RC Zero Emission on Demand racecar, which will participate at the Le Mans Garage 56 event, in 2015. The Nissan BladeGlider is also a proposal for an upcoming electric vehicle to be produced by Nissan, as a stylish roadster which is promising to revolutionize the market.
The one-off concept car is taking its power from in-wheel motors and from lithium-ion batteries, mounted at the back, and the vehicle will not require a tire change as often as a conventional car, especially when being driven aggressively. The Nissan BladeGlider Concept has a good chance of hitting the production line, but if this will happen, or when it will happen, is currently unknown, just like any extra details on the model, which will probably be announced over the following months, probably during another major automotive event.
