The new Porsche 911 Targa has been recently brought to the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, where the company has managed to make its public debut on the Old Continent.
Originally unveiled back in January, during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit, the Porsche 911 Targa is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the car manufacturer bringing it to another automotive event, in Geneva. This is basically marking the European public debut of the impressive ride which is expected to become a hit with the company’s fans who were eager to see the “Targa” name used once again.
The 2015 Porsche 911 Targa is basically available in two versions, the 911 Targa 4 and the 911 Targa 4S. The first one is taking its power from a 3.4 liter six-cylinder petrol burner, which is developing a total output of 350 HP (261 kW). The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint takes 4.6 seconds and top speed stands at 280 km/h (174 mph). The 911 Targa 4S has a larger 3.8 liter six-cylinder engine, which is rated at 400 HP (298 kW). The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) acceleration is made in 4.2 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 293 km/h (182 mph).
