The aftermarket specialists at MTM have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, generic an updated Volkswagen Amarok pickup truck, there during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
The Volkswagen Amarok has been the subject to some modifications, pill made by MTM, as the tuning company has officially unveiled the pickup truck during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in a premiere. According to MTM, the model in question has received front disc brakes measuring 405×36 mm, rear disc brakes, air springs along with a Panhard rod, a leaf spring rear axle and some 22-inch BBS SV alloy wheels, which have been wrapped in 295/40 Michelin Latitude tires.
The most important upgrade added to the Volkswagen Amarok by the tuning company is found under its hood, where the 4.2 liter V8 TDI engine is resting. This is producing a total output of 410 HP (306 kW) and 930 Nm (686 lb-ft) of torque. According to MTM, the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes just 6 seconds and top speed stands at 222 km/h (138 mph). Sadly the tuning company didn’t announce any pricing details for these modifications and we don’t even know if they will become available for order.
