General Motors has recently introduced a new engine for the 2014 GMC Sierra, which is coming as the 4.3-liter V6.
After it was officially unveiled just a few weeks ago, along with the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, the 2014 GMC Sierra is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the North American based automotive giant, GM, announcing a new engine for the model. According to the carmaker, the 2014 GMC Sierra will also be available to its future customers with a 4.3-liter V6 engine, which will get the cylinder deactivation technology, CVVT (continuously variable valve timing), direct injection and more.
The 4.3-liter V6 engine for the 2014 GMC Sierra will produce a total output of 285 HP (212 kW) and it will have a peak torque of 305 lb-ft (413 Nm). The unit is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission which is allowing a maximum tow rating of 7,200 pounds (3,266 kg). The 2014 GMC Sierra equipped with the 4.3-liter V6 engine will go on sale later on this year and its price list will start at 25,085 USD, including the 995 USD destination charge, but without the dealer fee, license, title and tax fees.
