The all-new GMC Sierra has recently been unveiled by the North American based automaker.
After going through some teaser images and spy photos, the new generation of the GMC Sierra is now here and the model has been describes as “the most powerful, most advanced and most refined truck in the brand’s 110-year history”. The 2014 GMC Sierra is getting a long list of standard features starting with the projector beam headlights, the segment’s only, going through the tie-down system in the gear and ending with the connectivity solutions.
The engine lineup in the new GMC Sierra includes three EcoTec3 units, a 4.3 liter V6, a 5.3 liter V8 and a 6.2 liter V8, all of them offering more power, more torque and an improved fuel efficiency. The EPA fuel economy figures haven’t been announced yet. Each unit is getting CVVT (Continuously Variable Valve Timing), Active Fuel Management, direct injection and more.
The 2014 GMC Sierra is also coming with four-wheel disc brakes and it’s using power steering instead of the engine-driven hydraulic pump. The cabin has received a 4.2-inch color Driver Information Center, a new cluster, a trip computer, aluminum trim line, new soft-touch materials and more. The 2014 GMC Sierra will go on sale across the United States next year and more details on it, including its price list, will be announced close to its launch.
