The first render images with the 2014 GMC Sierra in the Single-Cab version have recently hit the web and they might just reveal what the model will look like.
After it was officially presented to the public a couple of weeks ago, the new generation of the GMC Sierra, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is being placed into the spotlights once more, this time with the help of two renderings, which are revealing the model in Single-Cab version. If it will indeed hit the market, the 2014 GMC Sierra Single-Cab will probably get shortened and this will be translated into a weight reduction and into an improved fuel-efficiency.
As a quick reminder, the new GMC Sierra engine lineup includes three EcoTec3 units, a 4.3 liter V6, a 5.3 liter V8 and a 6.2 liter V8, all of them offering more power, more torque and an improved fuel-efficiency, just like the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. Each unit will get direct injection, Active Fuel Management and CVVT, but the EPA fuel economy figures haven’t been announced yet. The 2014 GMC Sierra will go on sale across the United States next year and more details on it, including its price list, will be announced close to its launch.
