Trans Am Depot has recently released the first video teaser of the brand new 2014 GTO, which is expected to hit the market over the following months.
Those of you enjoying the classic look of the Pontiac GTO but in search of a brand new car have a reason to be happy because the so-called 2014 GTO is almost ready to hit the market. The 2014 GTO represents a muscle car with the looks similar to those of the classic Pontiac GTO but will all the latest features and gismos inside, along with a brand new and powerful engine, which will gladly replace the horn. Sadly we have no more details on the 2014 GTO for the moment but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the footage posted below.
As a quick reminder, “The Judge”, the classic Pontiac GTO, has been produced between 1964 and 1974 by General Motors. The model was also sold in Australia, as a rebadged Holden Monaro. The first generation of the Pontiac GTO was made between 1964 and 1967 and it came in three body styles, convertible, coupe and hardtop, with two V8 engines and four transmission options. The second generation came to life between 1968 and 1973 in the same three body styles, with two V8 engines and three transmission options. The third generation was produced in 1974 and it had a single 5.7 liter V8 and three transmissions to choose from. The fourth generation of the model is considered to be the Holden / Vauxhall Monaro / Chevrolet Lumina Coupe, and this has been made between 2004 and 2006.
