Honda has recently announced the production start for the 2014 Accord Hybrid, at the company’s facility in Marysville, Ohio.
The 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid has been described as the most fuel efficient gasoline powered four-door sedan on sale currently in America and the model is coming with features like the LED daytime running lights, the unique alloy wheels and the blue accents, along with the hybrid badging, a rear spoiler and a new infotainment display, which is allowing the drivers to see the instant fuel economy and the status of the hybrid system.
“Even before it hits showrooms this fall, the Accord Hybrid is already surpassing the competition and claiming segment leadership. For customers looking for a 50 mpg rated 4-door sedan, there is no other choice than the 2014 Accord Hybrid”, said the American Honda vice president, Mike Accavitti.
The new Honda Accord Hybrid is powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine and a 166 HP (124 kW) electric motor. The setup is enabling the model to return 50 / 45 / 47 mpg in city / highway / combined, which is above what the company has originally estimated. The model is being produced in Marysville, Ohio. No pricing details have been announced yet.
