Honda has recently introduced the new generation of the City in India, which is getting ready to make its market debut soon.
The fourth generation of the Honda City has been officially unveiled in India. The model in question stands at 4, 440 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width and 1,495 mm in height, riding on a 2,600 mm long wheelbase and providing 510 liters of luggage space. Compared to its predecessor, the new Honda City is 25 mm long, 25 mm taller and it has exactly the same width. The wheelbase has increased by 50 mm and the luggage space capacity by 4 liters.
The styling of the 2014 Honda City has been first seen on the third Jazz generation, which was introduced earlier this year. At the time of its launch, Indians will be able to order the new Honda City with a choice of two engines, a 1.5 liter i-DTEC turbo diesel, which is coming with 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque, along with a 1.5 liter i-VTEC petrol unit. Some of the features of the new car include the multi-info meter panel, the 5-inch screen for the audio system with phone functions, the touch-panel digital air conditioning system or the rear AC vents. More details on the model, including its price, will be announced close to its launch, in January.
