Honda has introduced the fourth generation of the City in Australia, where the model in question is now 500 AUD cheaper than the outgoing version.
The 2014 Honda City is currently available for order in Australia, where the cheapest version, the VTi five-speed manual costs 15,990 AUD, undercutting its predecessor by 500 AUD. If the automatic version is what you’re looking for, you should know that the City VTi automatic will set you back for 17,990 AUD, again, 500 AUD cheaper than the current model. The top of the line City VTi-L CVT has been priced from 21,390 AUD. This is 100 AUD cheaper than the previous car.
Standard items found on the new Honda City include the Display Audio infotainment system, the Siri Eyes Free voice control, the rearview camera, Bluetooth, hill start assist (CVT only), four-speaker stereo, cloth seats, cruise control and 15-inch steel wheels. The new Honda City generation has received a brand new platform and an improved 1.5 liter four-cylinder petrol engine. The total output produced stands at 88 kW at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm of torque, available at 4,600 rpm. The average fuel consumption stands at 5.7 liters every 100 km.
