Honda has introduced the fifth generation of the Odyssey to Australia, where the cheapest model has been priced from 38,990 AUD.
The 2014 Honda Odyssey VTi entry-level is coming in a 2+3+3 formation, with eight seats, and it has key operated remote sliding door opening and closing, power sliding door, front and rear climate control settings, 17-inch alloy wheels, tire pressure monitoring system and others. The new Honda Odyssey is also getting a 7.0-inch touch screen media unit, MyLink system, sat-nav, voice control, hands-free, HDMI, USB, Bluetooth, audio streaming and others.
The Odyssey VTi-L is priced from 47,620 AUD and it’s adding the sunroof, tri-zone climate control, smart key entry, push button start, auto dimming rearview mirror, LED headlights, roll-up sunshades and more. Power is being provided by a 2.4 liter four-cylinder petrol engine, which is good for 129 kW and 225 Nm of torque, being mated to a CVT as standard. The average fuel consumption is standing at 7.6 liters / 100 km. The 2014 Honda Odyssey stands at 4,840 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width and 1,695 mm in height, riding on a 2,900 mm wheelbase and weighing 1,776 kg on the VTi version.
