The Huet Brothers have released more details about the HB Coupe, which is getting three different configurations and a chassis which weighs less than 100 kg (220 lbs).
According to the company, the 2014 Huet Brothers HB Coupe should hit the market sometimes next year and the model has been inspired by retro styling. The HB Coupe is riding on a chassis which is weighing less than 100 kg (220 lbs) and it’s coming in three configurations: Coupe, Coupe Road Racer and Coupe Race. Features like the touch screen infotainment system, the heated front seats , the carbon fiber, aluminum or wood trim can be ordered by customers, even if this seems like an old school car.
Power is being provided by a choice of two different engines, a 2.0 liter four-cylinder unit, which is producing a total output of 168 HP (170 PS / 125 kW), enabling the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than five seconds, and a 2.0 liter four-cylinder Cosworth, which is developing 252 HP (255 PS / 188 kW), allowing the car to spring from 0 to 100 km/h in less than four seconds. A six-speed manual transmission, which is sending power to the wheels via a limited slip differential, is being offered for the two engines. Prices start at 67,800 euros for the HB Coupe and the model will be produced in 40 units.
