The South Korean based automaker Hyundai has recently pulled the wraps off the facelifted 2014 Elantra / Avante, which will go on sale by the end of the year.
Following a teaser released a couple of weeks ago, the facelifted version of the Hyundai Elantra / Avante, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is ending up in our news once again, this time with the carmaker officially unveiling it. The model in question is now coming with a new radiator grille, front bumper, fog lamps, rear bumper, projection headlights, LED daytime running lights, rear combination lamps, two-tone 17-inch alloy wheels and much more.
The cabin of the model is now getting a raised front center armrest, the center air vent has been moved upward the dashboard, rear seat air vents have been added, along with ventilated seats, flex steer, Smart Parking Assist System and 3.5-inch OLED screen. As for the engine lineup, the 2014 Hyundai Elantra / Avante can be had with the 126 HP (94 kW) and 279 Nm of torque (206 lb-ft) 1.6 liter diesel unit. This can be mated to a manual transmission or to an automatic. Average fuel consumption in the manual version stands at 5.4 L / 100 km (52.3 mpg UK / 43.5 mpg US) or at 6.2 L / 100 km in the automatic (45.5 mpg UK / 37.9 mpg US).
