2014 Hyundai Tucson Walking Dead Edition unveiled in L.A. image

The South Korean based automaker Hyundai has officially unveiled the 2014 Tucson Walking Dead Edition during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The 2014 Hyundai Tucson Walking Dead Edition has been finished in Ash Black and it has some red accents and some special graphics. The model in question is also getting four decals, the Hilltop, the Kingdom, the Saviors and the Survivors, mudguards and several other interesting features.

“The Walking Dead Special Edition Tucson represents a chance for loyal fans to show their enthusiasm for the graphic novel series. The Tucson is versatile, responsive and fuel-efficient, allowing just enough room for those wisely-chosen passengers and supplies needed in the event of a zombie apocalypse or any survival scenario”, said the Tucson product planner, Christine Jew.

The interior design of the 2014 Hyundai Tucson Walking Dead Edition has received black leather seats, a 7-inch touch screen display, custom floor mats, a Zombie Survival Kit, which includes the survivalist backpack and the Walking Dead Tucson Quick Reference Guide. As far as the engine goes, the model in question is powered by a 2.4 liter Theta II GDI, which is producing a total output of 182 HP (135 kW) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission which can send power to the optional AWD system.
