Hyundai has officially presented to the public the 2014 Veloster Turbo R, during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, in a premiere.
The 2014 Hyundai Veloster has just received a hotter version, named the R-Spec, which was also seen on three Genesis models. The new Veloster Turbo R is now coming with some interesting items, such as the red exterior accents, the red leatherette bolsters with red/black cloth insert sport seats, the various R-Spec badging, the short throw B&M Racing Sport Shifter and some other tweaks, which will help the model stand out from a crowd.
Power to the 2014 Hyundai Veloster Turbo R is being provided by the same 1.6 liter direct injected turbocharged engine like the regular Turbo version, which is producing a total output of 201 HP (150 kW) and it has a peak torque of 264 Nm (195 lb-ft). The 2014 Hyundai Veloster Turbo R will hit the production line next month and the first units will be delivered in February. Additional details on the model, including its price list, will be announced close to its market release. Meanwhile, you can check it out in the photo gallery posted below.
