2014 Kia Cadenza debuts in Detroit image

Kia has introduced the 2014 Cadenza during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.

The 2014 Kia Cadenza is a premium car aimed to battle models like the Toyota Avalon or the Buick LaCrosse. The model is getting a dual exhaust system, LED taillights, chrome trim, a new front fascia and some other tweaks. The cabin of the 2014 Kia Cadenza has been fitted with an 8-inch touch screen display for the UVO eServices and GSP navigation, with dual-zone climate control, with leather seats and with a 12-speaker Infinity audio system, amongst others.

Future owners of the 2014 Kia Cadenza will be able to order the Premium Package, adding Nappa leather seats, HID headlights, heated seats, digital instrument cluster and panoramic sunroof, while the Technology Package will add the Blind Spot Detection, the “water repellant hydrophobic” windshield, Advanced Smart Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning and electronic parking brake, amongst others. Power to the 2014 Kia Cadenza is provided by a 3.3 liter GDI V6 engine, producing a total output of 293 BHP (218 kW) and 345 Nm of torque (255 lb-ft), mated to a six-speed automatic transmission sending power to the front-wheel drive. The model will go on sale in the U.S. later on this year.
