2014 Kia Sorento gets priced in the U.S.

Kia has recently announced the official price list for the 2014 Sorento in the United States, where the base entry-level LX can be bought from 24,950 USD, destination charge included.

The South Korean based automaker is now offering the 2014 Kia Sorento LX entry-level for 950 USD more than the 2013 Sorento. The model is coming with a six-speed automatic transmission as standard and with the all-wheel drive as an option. The 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine with 175 HP has been dropped from the lineup and the unit has been “replaced” by the 2.4 liter direct injection four-cylinder engine, generating 191 HP.

The LX models are getting standard features such as the stain resistant cloth seats, the LED indicators on the side mirrors, the 17-inch alloy wheels and more, and if you’re looking for the third row of seats, you should know that this costs an extra 800 USD. The Convenience Package can also be ordered for the model, coming at 2,000 USD, and adding heated front seat fog lamps, floor mats, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear shifter, roof rails, rear sonar, second row sunshade and more, while the Premium Package, priced from 2,600 USD, will add leather seats, push button start, interior accent lights, advanced instrument cluster display, eight-way power driver’s seat, exterior front door pocket light and more. Prices for the 2014 Kia Sorento SX start at 35,850 USD.
