Kia has recently announced the official price list for the 2014 Sportage in the United States, where the model will now set you back for 22, 450 USD for the base entry-level version.
According to the car manufacturer, Americans will now be able to order the 2014 Kia Sportage in three different trim levels, while the Sportage Base has been dropped in the country. This probably explains the price increase to 22,450 USD for the cheapest model currently available for order, but if this doesn’t satisfy you, there is always the top of the line Kia Sportage SX version, which comes with more standard features and all-wheel drive, for a price set at 29,250 USD.
The 2014 Kia Sportage has received features like the HID headlights, the LED taillights, a new front grille and other changes applied to its exterior design, along with a revised infotainment system, reclining rear outboard seats and a tilt and telescopic steering column. Power to the 2014 Kia Sportage is being provided by a 2.4 liter GDI four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 182 HP and 177 lb-ft of torque. This basically means 6 HP and 9 lb-ft of torque more than the previous version.
