The 2014 Lexus GX460 has been launched in the United States where the model now costs $49, 085.
Lexus has updated the GX460 for the 2014 model year overseas with an extensive facelift, which is now incorporating the carmaker’s signature and some other minor tweaks. In addition to this, the SUV is also carrying a Luxury variant which is adding more upgrades and options, such as the Adaptable Air Suspension, Blind Spot Monitor, parking assist, satellite navigation system and the unique 18-inch alloy wheels.
“The redesigned 2014 Lexus GX 460 luxury utility vehicle (LUV) will be offered in two grades when it arrives at dealerships beginning in September. The standard GX will carry a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $49,085”, as the carmaker is saying in its official press release.
The 2014 Lexus GX460 is 4,710 USD cheaper than the previous version for the standard model, while the Luxury version costs 60,715 USD. Power to the model is being provided by a 4.6 liter V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 301 HP at 5,500 rpm, mated to a six-speed transmission. The estimated EPA stands at 15 / 20 mpg in city /highway. The model will arrive at dealerships in a few days.
