The Italian based automaker Maserati has received a total of 8, 000 bookings for the new generation of the Quattroporte.
The 2014 Maserati Quattroporte is ending up in our news once again after it was introduced to several markets, with an announcement. According to the guys at the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte has received no less than 8,000 bookings. Contributing factors in this case are the growing markets for luxury cars in Asia and in North America.
As a quick reminder, the new generation of the Quattroporte has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, back in January. The model is powered by a 3.0 liter V6 engine in the entry-level version, which is good for 410 HP (310 kW) and 550 Nm of torque (406 lb-ft), enough for a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration of 4.9 seconds and a 285 km/h (177 mph) top speed. The 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 is also available, with 530 HP (390 kW) and 710 Nm of torque (542 lb-ft). The V6 can be has with AWD. Both units are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
