The Italian based automaker Maserati has recently announced that a website for the new Quattroporte generation has been recently launched.
After it was officially unveiled just a few weeks ago, the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte is entering our news once again, this time with the carmaker announcing the launch of a new website made exclusively for the model. The 2014 Maserati Quattroporte has grown in length, from 5,052 mm to 5,200 mm and it lost 50 kg from its kerb weight. The model is using a new steel monocoque chassis.
At the time of its launch, the sixth generation of the Maserati Quattroporte will get a 4.7 liter V8 engine under its hood, developed by Ferrari, which will produce a total output of 453 BHP. The unit will get improved fuel economy and lowered CO2 emissions and it will be mated to an XF automatic transmission. Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte but the model will be officially presented to the public at the 2013 NAIAS in Detroit and during the event, the company is expected to tell us more on the model.
