2014 Maserati Quattroporte tested by Autocar

As a quick reminder, the all-new Maserati Quattroporte, in the entry-level version, will come with a 3.0 liter V6 unit under its hood, producing a total output of 410 HP and helping the model sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 285 km/h. If this isn’t enough for you, then you should know that Maserati is also offering a larger 3.8 liter V8 with twin-turbo and direct injection, which is able to produce a total output of 530 HP and a peak torque 670 Nm of torque. Thanks to overboost, the torque figure can increase up to 720 Nm and the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in this version takes 4.7 seconds, with the top speed standing at 307 km/h.
