The new generation of the Mazda 3 has recently leaked in a Japanese brochure, showing its lines ahead of its public debut which will probably be later on this year.
The brand new 2014 Mazda 3 is coming, just like initial rumors were saying, with the Kodo design language, following the same path as the CX-5, Mazda 6 and CX-9. The model is coming with a prominent front black grille, angular headlights, muscular wheel arches, horizontal taillights, raked rear window and some other tweaks. The new generation of the Mazda 3 is expected to be officially unveiled by the end of 2013.
Additional details on the brand new Mazda 3 are limited for the moment but rumors are saying that the model will get a 2.0 liter four-cylinder gasoline engine under its hood in the United States version, which should produce a total output of 155 HP (116 kW), and the model will also benefit from the SkyActiv fuel saving technology. The new Mazda3 will be lighter compared to the outgoing model and the vehicle is expected to get a high performance version Mazdaspeed3.
