More official images with the new Mazda3 Sedan generation have hit the web, ahead of the model’s official debut.
The new generation of the Mazda3 Sedan is being placed into the spotlights once again, but not how the owner expected, because the model has leaked in some new images which have hit the web. The model in question is sharing most components, panels, interior features and engines with the hatchback version, which has been unveiled almost a week ago, and the same Kodo design language can be seen all over its body. The new Mazda3 Sedan generation has the obvious longer rear end, and that’s about all, because everything else can be seen on the 2014 Mazda3 hatchback.
As for the engine lineup, this remains unknown for the moment, but considering the fact that everything is borrowed from the hatchback, than you should expect the 2.0 liter SKYACTIV with its 155 HP (115 kW), or the 184 HP (137 kW) 2.5 liter SKYACTIV-G for the United States model. In other markets, the new Mazda3 Sedan is also expected to receive a 99 HP (74 kW) 1.5 liter SKYACTIV-G, a 118 HP (88 kW) 2.0 liter SKYACTIV-G and a 2.2 liter diesel SKYACTIV-D, producing 147 HP (110 kW). Additional details on the new Mazda3 Sedan are limited for the moment.
