The future generation of the Mazda6 has been recently rendered, revealing what the model will probably look like.
With the Japanese based automaker Mazda teasing the future generation of the Mazda6 in two teaser videos until now, the model is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time with the help of the guys at autoguide.com, who have released a render with the vehicle. The 2014 Mazda6 will be based on the Takeri concept, the same one which has been officially presented to the public in late 2011, at the 42nd edition of the Tokyo Motor Show in December.
The car manufacturer said that the new Mazda6 generation will get new SkyActiv engines and transmissions and thanks to technologies like the direct injection, the fuel consumption will be improved and the CO2 emissions lowered. The model will also get an interpretation of the Kodo design language. Unfortunately we don’t have any other official details on the future generation of the Mazda6, which will wear the 2014 model year in its name, except for the fact that the model will make its debut in a world premiere in September, during the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Until then, you can watch the rendering above.
