Mercedes-Benz has recently announced the official starting price for the new E250 BlueTEC Sedan in the United States, which will go on sale shortly from 51,400 USD.
According to the German based automaker, the new 2014 Mercedes-Benz E250 BlueTEC Sedan will actually become the most affordable E-Class in America, with a base starting price set at 51,400 USD, for the cheapest version, or 53,900 USD for the 4MATIC all-wheel drive variant, both of them without the 925 USD destination and delivery fee.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E250 BlueTEC Sedan is powered by a 2.1 liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine, which is producing a total output of 195 HP (145 kW) and 500 Nm of torque (369 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. The setup is allowing the sedan to return 28 / 45 mpg in city / highway with rear-wheel drive or 27 / 42 mpg in city / highway with the optional 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.
