The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has recently announced its intention to unveil the facelifted E63 AMG during the 2013 Detroit Motor Show next week.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG has first entered our news a few weeks ago, with the first leaked images of the popular German vehicle, but now the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the “help” of an official image, followed by the first details, released by the carmaker. The Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG facelift is coming with a single bar grille, with new headlights, with an aggressive front fascia and with other features which will differentiate it from the regular versions.
The interior design of the facelifted E63 AMG will receive an updated trim, newly designed air vents, revised instrument cluster and more. And here we are, finally, at the most important part of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, the engine. The 5.5 liter twin-turbo V8 will make its way under the hood of the model and this should produce a total output of 550 HP (405 kW) and 719 Nm of torque (531 lb-ft). All of this power will be sent to the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. More details on the E63 AMG will be announced in Detroit, on the 14th of January.
