The aftermarket specialists at Race Tools have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, an upgrade program for the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been recently introduced and now the luxurious model has a customization option signed by Race Tools. The tuning company has fitted the S350 BlueTEC with an optimized ECU, which is allowing the unit to produce an extra 42 HP (30 kW) and 50 Nm of torque (37 lb-ft), to a total of 300 HP (220 kW) and 670 Nm of torque (494 lb-ft), from the same 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine.

The CR plug-in module added to the S500 is allowing the 4.7 liter V8 engine to produce an extra 35 HP (26 kW) and 80 Nm of torque (59 lb-ft), to a total of 491 HP (361 kW) and 780 Nm of torque (575 lb-ft), for a total cost of 597 euros. Bringing the total output of the S500 to 516 HP (379 kW) and 800 Nm of torque (590 lb-ft) will set you back for 1,537 euros. Performance specifications haven’t been released yet but the package is also allowing the model to reach a top speed of 297 km/h (185 mph).
