The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is planning to offer the new S-Class generation in the Cabrio version only in the two-door body style.
The fact that the new S-Class generation will get a Coupe and a Cabrio version is no secret anymore, but what comes as something new is that the German based automaker will only launch the drop-top version in a single body style, with two doors. Rumors are saying that the four-door variant of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is out of question because it affects the stability and the dynamics of the model and this will eventually reflect into its sales figures.
Rumors are saying that the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabrio will hit the market one year after the luxurious four-door variant will debut and this means that the drop-top will be launched sometimes in 2014. The S-Class Cabrio is expected to get all the technologies found on the new regular S-Class and this will include the Magic Body Control, which will use sensors and cameras to scan the road and adapt the suspension to any surface. The engine lineup will also be carried over from the regular S-Class. Additional details on the S-Class Cabrio are unknown for the moment.
