The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class has a total of 156 buttons and switches in the cabin and this is quite a lot considering the fact that some of them have multiple purposes.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is truly an amazing vehicle and its technology is a benchmark for the regular production cars over the following years, as it has always been. The new generation of the luxurious vehicle signed by Mercedes-Benz has a total of 156 buttons and switches in the cabin. According to Auto Week, a total of 12 buttons are found on the steering wheel, 23 on the driver’s door, 13 on the passenger’s door, 19 on the dashboard fascia, 3 on the instrument panel, 4 vent ones on the dashboard, 10 on the front headliner and 3 on the rearview mirror.
The count doesn’t stop here because another 30 buttons can be accessed from the rear passenger doors, 15 on each side, along with 9 from the vent buttons on the rear center console and 9 from the rear center console. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class has two 12.3-inch displays, a COMAND Online system with an Intel Atom processor, 14 air cushions in the backrest with massage system, 24 speakers for the 1500-watt Burmester audio system and some other interesting equipment.
