Mercedes-Benz has released a new image with the new generation of the S-Class where the luxury sedan is being partially revealed.
The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is entering our news once again, this time with the carmaker releasing another image with the model. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is now partially revealed in the image posted above, right before its public debut scheduled for today, the 15th of May, 2013, 20:00 CET, in Hamburg. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is shown in an airplane, in which it was delivered by DHL at the Airbus A380 delivery center.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class will hit the market, for the first time in history, in four body styles, sedan, long wheelbase sedan, replacing the Maybach, the Cabrio and the Coupe, which will come instead of the CL-Class. The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class will receive a 258 HP (190 kW) and 620 Nm of torque (457 lb-ft) 3.0L V6 in the S350 BlueTEC, a 455 HP (355 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) 4.7L V8 petrol in the S500 and a 306 HP (225 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) 3.5L V6 in the S400 Hybrid. An AMG version is also in the pipeline. Additional details on the model will be announced during its launch.
