The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been recently teased for the 2012 Paris Motor Show and its inspiration has been drawn from the previous generations of the luxurious model.
Even if the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been teased for this edition of the Paris Motor Show, the luxury car won’t be presented at the French automotive event in the old fashioned way and the German based automaker will actually bring a relief sculpture to the show, which is giving an idea of how the exterior design of the new S-Class will look like.
“The sculpture highlights the artistic aspects of design. With the design and proportions of ‘Aesthetics S’, we are communicating a modern sense of status, sensual shapes and stylish sportiness”, as the German based automaker said in its statement earlier this week.
According to the car manufacturer, the future generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been inspired by four previous versions of the model, like the 189, the 108, the 126 or the 221. The 2014 S-Class is expected to get a 5.5 liter V8 bi-turbo engine as standard and it will also benefit from the inflatable seatbelt. The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class will go on sale sometimes next year (2013).
