2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class to be unveiled tomorrow image

The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be officially unveiled tomorrow, the 15th of May, 2013, in Germany.

Following the leaked images, the teasers and the spy photos of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be the official unveil of the luxurious model which will take place tomorrow, the 15th of May, 2013. According to the German based automaker, the new generation of the S-Class will make its public debut in Hamburg, at the Airbus A380 delivery center. The A380 is the largest airplane and it’s symbolizing European technology, just like the luxury sedan.

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be unveiled in its four body styles, normal sedan, long wheelbase, coupe and convertible and to make sure that everything will be ready on time, the contractors are working around the clock. The new generation of the S350 BlueTEC will receive a 3.0L V6 diesel under its hood, which is good for 258 HP (190 kW) and 620 Nm of torque (457 lb-ft). The model will sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds and it will reach a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). The S500 will use a 4.7L V8 with 455 HP (335 kW) and 700 Nm of torque (516 lb-ft). The 0 to 100 km/h sprint will take 4.8s in this version. The S400 Hybrid will receive a hybridized 3.5: V6 with 306 HP (225 kW) and 370 Nm of torque (273 lb-ft). The 0 to 100 km/h sprint will take 6.8s in this variant.
