The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is said to offer a preview of the brand new 2014 S65 AMG in November, during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet and rather than using one of the biggest automotive events this year, the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, which will open its gates on the 10th of September, the German based automaker is apparently going for the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, which start in November. The model in question is the most powerful version of the new S-Class generation and its market debut will be made in January, 2014, while deliveries are said to start in March.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG is expected to get a 6.0 liter V12 engine under its hood, which will be a significant improvement considering the 5.5 liter V8 used in the S63 AMG and in its smaller brother, the E63 AMG facelift. The total output produced by the new V12 engine is said to stand at 630 HP (463 kW) and 1,000 Nm of torque (737 lb-ft), which means a lot. Power will be sent to the wheels through an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint will take 4 seconds.
