Mercedes-Benz has recently introduced the brand new Sprinter 4×4, which has been designed to handle snowy conditions and not only.

The German based automaker has recently introduced the 2014 Sprinter 4×4. According to the car manufacturer, the van can handle some rough terrain and snow thanks to the all-wheel drive system, which becomes available at the touch of a button. Mercedes-Benz also says that the van can receive the Hill Start Assist, the low range gear box or even off-road tires, so if you plan on moving to a remote cabin, than this may be the vehicle of choice.

“With all-wheel drive, the new Sprinter 4×4 is displaying its outstanding capabilities even under the most adverse of conditions”, says the carmaker in its official press release.

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4×4 is available with a choice of three diesel engines, which include the 129 HP (95 kW) and 305 Nm (225 lb-ft) of torque 2.1 liter four-cylinder, the 163 HP (120 kW) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft) of torque 2.1 liter four-cylinder and the top of the line 3.0 liter V6, producing a total output of 190 HP (139 kW) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque. Units can be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic, which is available as an option. Prices for the AWD system in Germany start at 8,391 euros.
