2014 MINI Cooper gets priced in the U.S.

The 2014 MINI Cooper is now available for order in the United States, where the model has been priced from 19,950 USD, without the 795 USD destination charge and handling fee.

Those of you living in the United States, who fancy the new 2014 MINI Cooper, will soon have the chance to order it, as the model will go on sale over there this spring. The cheapest version of the model will set you back for 19,950 USD, and it will be receiving goodies such as the 6-speaker audio system, the leather wrapped sport steering wheel, the ambient lighting, the air conditioning and the 15-inch alloy wheels, amongst others.

For the money, future owners of the new MINI Cooper will also receive a 1.5 liter TwinTurbo Power three-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 134 HP (100 kW) and 230 Nm (170 lb-ft) of torque. This will allow it to sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 7.3 seconds and to reach a top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h). Pay 23,600 USD and you will be able to take the new MINI Cooper S home, with its 2.0 liter TwinPower four-cylinder engine, which is good for 189 HP (141 kW) and 299 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint is made in 6.4 seconds and top speed stands at 146 mph (235 km/h).
