The British based automaker MINI is planning to introduce the brand new Cooper later on this year, during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, in November.
The 2014 MINI Cooper has been caught on camera already, by our spy photographers, and it seems that the BMW owned brand isn’t going to choose the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show to unveil the model but the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, a couple of months later, will be chosen, in order to pull the wraps off the vehicle. The announcement has been made by Sue McCarthy, the MINI Australia product planning manager.
“We will see the new one at the L.A. Motor Show in November, with (an international) launch first quarter of next year”, as she said during the Australian launch of the MINI JCW range.
The 2014 MINI Cooper will get a longer hood, smaller front grille, huge headlight units, slimmer A-pillars and some other tweaks, which will help the model stand out in a crowd faster. The cabin of the vehicle will also be modified and the center mounted speedometer will be replaced by a traditional instrument cluster. Additional details on the 2014 MINI Cooper are limited for the moment and will be announced by the end of this year.
