The British based automaker MINI has brought the 2014 Paceman coupe crossover to the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.
After making its way to the 2012 Paris Motor Show just a couple of months ago, the 2014 MINI Paceman is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the British based automaker bringing it to this year’s edition of the Los Angeles Auto Show, where the model has made its North American debut. According to the car manufacturer, the MINI Paceman is getting ready to be launched in the United States on the 16th of March, 2013, and the cheapest version of the model will be available from 23,900 USD.
“The seventh model in the MINI family has a unique character all of its own, while displaying clear ties to the inimitable style of the British premium brand. While many MINI Paceman buyers will view their new car as a sporty 2+2 seater, the interior has been designed as a genuine four-seater with ample space for rear-seat passengers. Its innovative vehicle concept takes its cues from the needs of modern target groups, who will appreciate its confident appearance as much as the infectious driving fun it guarantees”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.
The base version MINI Cooper Paceman will get a 1.6 liter four-cylinder engine under its hood, producing 121 HP and 114 lb-ft of torque. The MINI Cooper S Paceman will be powered by a 1.6L turbo generating 181 HP and 177 lb-ft of torque, while the top of the line ALL4 MINI Cooper S will be offered as an option starting at 29,200 USD. More details on the Paceman over-seas will be announced close to its launch.
