Mitsubishi has pulled the wraps off the 2014 i-MiEV which has been now priced from 22, 995 USD over-seas.
The 2014 Mitsubishi i-MiEV is getting ready to be launched in the United States after the model has been officially unveiled. The “green” Mitsubishi vehicle is now available for order from 22, 995 USD, but after the EV federal tax credit of 7,500 USD is being applied, this goes down to 15,495 USD, which means that the model costs 6,130 USD less than its predecessor.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2014 Mitsubishi i-MiEV has received new front fog lights, new daytime running lights, different aluminum wheels, a leather wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats and some other tweaks, which should make it more popular. The model in question is also gaining a Level 1 charging cable, which is allowing the battery to be recharged in about 14 hours on 12 amp or in 22 hours on 8 amp, along with a battery warning system and a CHAdeMO DC quick port charge. Additional details on the 2014 Mitsubishi i-MiEV are limited for the moment and will probably be announced close to its launch, which has been set for next spring.
