Dodge has introduced the facelifted version of the Charger in a premiere, during the 2014 New York Auto Show, as the model in question will be arriving in dealerships across the country by the end of this year.
The 2015 Dodge Charger has received a new three-piece spoiler, standard on the R/T version, some 20-inch alloy wheels, new paint schemes, eight new cabin trims, three-spoke steering wheel, 7-inch TFT customizable digital gauge cluster, a performance inspired electronic shifter and so on. The vehicle is also getting the Dart-inspired front fascia, with the more rounded headlights and the narrower grille, along with the DRL, LED taillights and others.
As far as the engine lineup goes, Dodge will be offering the 2015 Charger with a 3.6 liter V6 Pentastar, producing 292 HP (218 kW), at 6,350 rpm, and 353 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque, available at 4,800 rpm. The larger 5.7 liter HEMI V8 is also available, with its 370 HP (276 kW) and 535 Nm (395 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint takes approximately 5 seconds in the R/T. Both units are getting the 8-speed TorqueFlight automatic transmission.
