2014 New York Auto Show: 2015 Hyundai Sonata

The 2015 Hyundai Sonata has been officially introduced, in a premiere, during the 2014 New York Auto Show.

Hyundai has unveiled the 2015 Sonata which will go on sale in the United States this summer. The model in question is available with a tailgate mounted spoiler, with LED daytime running lights and 16-inch aluminum wheels on the entry-level version. The cabin of the model has LED interior lights, power windows, power locks, iPod / USB / AUX / Bluetooth connectivity, tilt / telescopic steering wheel, air conditioning, premium cloth seats and so on.

The Sport is adding a revised front fascia, a new grille, additional chrome trim, 17-inch alloy wheels and a dual exhaust system, along with the heated front seats, faux carbon fiber trim and 8-way power driver’s seat. The Limited is coming with the aforementioned equipment along with the leather seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, woodgrain trim, heated rear seats, 6-way power front passenger seats, auto dimming rearview mirror and others. Power is provided by a 185 HP (138 kW) and 241 Nm (178 lb-ft) 2.4L GDI, or by a 245 HP (182 kW) and 352 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque 2.0L unit. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with the SHIFTRONIC manual mode.
