The BMW X4 is entering our news once again, this time with the company officially pulling the wraps off its body during the 2014 New York Auto Show. The SAC (Sports Activity Coupe) has been unveiled in the Big Apple in a local premiere, one month after its online configurator has been introduced. The BMW X4 can be ordered in the United States in the xDrive28i version, from 45,626 USD, or in the xDrive35i variant, priced from 48,925 USD. Both figures include the handling fee and the destination charge.
The brand new BMW X4 is basically a smaller version of the X6 and, just like its larger brother is based on the X5, the X4 is based on the X3. Three petrol burners and three diesel engines are being offered for this model, depending on the selected market, and the petrol range will include units ranging between 184 HP and 306 HP, while the diesel engines will produce between 190 HP and 313 HP. The BMW X4 has an identical cabin to the X3 and it’s 14 mm longer and 36 mm lower than the vehicle on which is based upon. The cargo capacity is 1,400 liters with the rear seats folded.
