Ford has officially presented to the public at the 2014 New York Auto Show the Mustang 50th Anniversary Edition.
Ford is celebrating 50 years since the Mustang has been introduced with a special edition called the 50th Anniversary. The model in question is available in either Wimbledon White or Kona Blue and it has been equipped with the Performance Pack. The cabin of the muscle car is getting the two-tone cashmere and black upholstery for the seats, cashmere stitched steering wheel covered in leather and a 50 Year logo on the seatbacks.
Ford says that the Mustang 50th Anniversary Edition is taking its power from the 5.0 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 420 HP (313 kW) and it has a peak torque of 528 Nm (390 lb-ft). Power is being sent to the wheels through a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The limited Mustang Edition is sitting on 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. Only 1,964 units of the muscle car will be produced and it will go on sale this fall. No pricing details have been released yet.
