The Japanese luxury brand used the New York motor show venue to reveal their anticipated 2015 Q70 and 2015 QX80 facelifts.
First off we have the Q70 sedan, which has been revealed to be offered from now on with an extended wheelbase option – the standard Q70 will have a 114.2-inch (290 cm) wheelbase, while the longer Q70L will bring more knee and leg room thanks to a 5.9 inches (15 cm) increase.
The facelift also brings the front fascia of the car closer to the Q50 looks, with the looks of the model now more elegant and refined thanks to the new head and taillights equipped with LED technology.
The engines carry over from the current generation – which means both wheelbase models can be had with a 3.7-liter V6 delivering 330 bhp or with a 5.6-liter V8 good for 420 hp.
The QX80 model sports three fresh color options, new full LED headlights and taillights, a revised grille and two new alloy rim choices. There’s also a new top of the range Limited trim level available.
The power for the QX80 models comes from a 5.6-liter V8 that churns out 400 hp and 413 lb-ft (559 Nm) mated to a seven speed automatic transmission that sends power either to the rear wheels or to both axels.
