Jeep has released new details on the U.S.-spec Renegade recently, during the 2014 New York Auto Show.
The new Jeep Renegade has been recently introduced, in the U.S.-spec version, at the 2014 New York Auto Show. The model in question is available in several trims and the most affordable one is the Renegade Sport. This is coming with a UConnect 3.0 infotainment system, with a tilt / telescope steering wheel, power windows, power locks, four-speaker audio system and 16-inch wheels, amongst others.
The Renegade Latitude is following with its body color door handles, fog lights, privacy glass, 6-speaker audio system, UConnect infotainment with 5-inch touch screen display, air conditioning, leather wrapped steering wheel and 16-inch aluminum wheels. There is also a Renegade Limited, which will be offered with Nappa leather seats, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, digital instrument cluster, auto dimming rearview mirror, chrome side mirrors, revised grille and 18-inch aluminum wheels.
Last but not least is the Renegade Trailhawk, with its unique bumpers, skid plates, increased ride height, hill descen control, Rock mode, Jeep Active Drive Low four-wheel drive system, 17-inch wheels with off-road and on-road tires and so on. As for the engine lineup, this includes the 1.4 liter MultiAir Turbo four-cylinder unit, with 160 HP (119 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque, along with the 2.4 liter Tigershark four-cylinder, rated at 184 HP (137 kW) and 236 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque.
