Offering a preview for the next generation of the Discovery, Land Rover has officially presented to the public the new Discovery Vision Concept, during the 2014 New York Auto Show.
The Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept has made its public debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show, after it has been officially unveiled a few days ago. The model in question is offering a preview into the next generation of the Discovery and it’s also using the same platform which will be making its way onto the production model.
The newest generation of the Range Rover has obviously played a main role in designing this one-off vehicle and this is most obvious in the new headlights and taillights of the model. The Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept is smaller than a Range Rover and it has doors with invisible handles, slimlined wing mirrors, aggressively styled C-pillars and a luxurious five-seat layout in its cabin.
The one-off concept is also equipped with the transparent hood technology presented online just a few days ago and it has the Remote Control Drive, which is allowing the driver to maneuver remotely at low speeds which can be quite important on dangerous off-road and on-road situations. The final production version of the new Land Rover Discovery generation is expected to make its way onto the market towards the end of the year.
