The Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG 4MATIC Coupe has been officially unveiled during the 2014 New York Auto Show.
The luxurious and powerful two-door coupe has received a sporty front fascia, massive air intakes, single bar grille, gloss black accents, a front splitter, a rear diffuser, four-tailpipe exhaust system with automatic flaps which can change the temper of the exhaust based on the driving mode selected (C – Controlled Efficiency, S – Sport and M – Manual).
The performance vehicle is also getting the adaptive dampers, the AIRMATIC air suspension, the stiffer subframe carrier, the larger anti-roll bar, the rear-biased AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive, the optional carbon ceramic brakes and others. As far as the cabin goes, the S63 AMG 4MATIC Coupe is equipped with Nappa leather sport seats, with an AMG sport steering wheel with aluminum paddle shifters, a digital instrument cluster, a wide screen infotainment system, carbon fiber trim and wood trim.
The Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG 4MATIC Coupe is using a 5.5 liter V8 twin turbo engine, which is producing a total output of 577 HP (430 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. This is mated to a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT transmission, which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (60 mph) in just over 4 seconds, before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).
