Maserati has recently introduced a range of GranTurismo MC Centennial Editions at the 2014 New York Auto Show.
The Italian based automaker Maserati is celebrating its 100th anniversary and it has introduced a series of GranTurismo MC Centennial Editions during the automotive event in the Big Apple. The special editions are available in seven colors and the Magma Red finished ones will have black seats, red, white and blue accents on the dashboard, carbon fiber trim, tri-color accents on the leather wrapped steering wheel and more, while the Inchiostro Blue will get similar features, along with the Santorini Blue inserts and stitching on the dashboard and white leather seats.
The Maserati GranTurismo MC Centennial Editions are being powered by the same 4.7 liter V8 engine which is also used on the standard model. The unit is producing a total output of 454 HP (338 kW) and it has a peak torque of 520 Nm (383 lb-ft). The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 297 km/h (185 mph). No pricing details have been announced yet.
