The Japanese based automaker Nissan has recently announced the official starting price of the 2014 Versa in the United States, which has been set at 11,990 USD, without the 790 USD destination fee. The “new” Nissan Versa is retaining the same price as last year and it’s remaining the cheapest car on the market. Nissan says that for these money, future customers will receive the five-speed manual transmission version, but the four-speed automatic can be yours for an extra 1,000 USD.
All version of the 2014 Nissan Versa are powered by the same 1.6 liter four-cylinder 16-valvE DOHC engine, which is good for 109 HP (81 kW) and 107 lb-ft of torque (145 Nm). The manual version is returning 26 / 35 / 30 mpg in city / highway / combined and the automatic is good for 31 / 40 / 35 mpg in city / highway / combined. Standard features found on the model include the air conditioning, AUX, CD or six-way adjustable driver’s seat. A 4.3-inch display can be added, along with SiriusXM Satellite Radio, 16-inch alloy wheels, key fob trunk release and more.
