Nissan has recently released a new teaser image with the 2014 X-Trail, which will be officially presented to the public next week, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in a world premiere.
The new generation of the Nissan X-Trail is getting ready to storm the market, but until that will happen, the carmaker will officially present it to the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, on the 10th of September. In order to put the model into the spotlights, the company has recently released a teaser image with it, which is showing the left headlights, along with part of the large front grille, the new bumper, bonnet, fender and wheel.
The 2014 Nissan X-Trail is believed to be inspired by the Hi-Cross Concept, which was introduced back in 2012, during the Geneva Motor Show. The same platform will be used on the new X-Trail as the one on the new generation of the Qashqai, which is named the Common Modular Family platform and it’s shared with Renault. This is underpinning 11 future Renault models, like the Laguna, the Scenic or the Espace. The new generation of the Nissan X-Trail will go on sale in early 2014. Additional details on the model should be announced during the Frankfurt Motor Show.
